About Me.
Mariajose is a Mexican designer who is interested in work that highlights and uplifts underrepresented communities, including Latinx, immigrants, and the LGBTQ+ community. She enjoys learning and working with other people. She brings curiosity and interest for historical perspective in creating good designs that feel both authentic and approachable. Mariajose enjoys working on projects with communicative possibility—like advertising posters, readymechs, and informational brochures—especially those that spark conversation. Her versatile style often features and simple yet impactful illustrations. She’s especially interested in being in conversation with curious young adults through her work.
